Swisspath’s comprehensive guardiennage program ensures stress-free yacht ownership for owners who keep their yachts in Mallorca. From regular weather checks and planned maintenance, to contractor management and conciergerie, our goal is to keep the yacht safe, professionally maintained and ready, while the owner is kept relaxed, up to date and in control.

Based on Time, not Tasks…
So you’re in control.

  • Our service is packaged by time, not tasks, allowing us to support our client and their yacht by doing what’s really needed, not just running through a checklist. This means we’re not doing things unnecessarily and they’re only paying for work that actually needs to be done.
  • We’ve separated our services into “Core” services – the essentials necessary to keep the yacht safe, technically and cosmetically maintained – and “Open” services – which cater for specific needs of each yacht and Client.

Core items

These essential services, bundled in around 15 hours per month, are provided to every yacht under our care and included in all packages.

  • Weekly dock checks – Lines, fenders, passerelle, general security.
  • Weekly interior check – Mould check, leaks, hatches locked, general cleanliness.
  • Weekly engineering checks – Bilges, batteries, charger and shore power.
  • Monthly engineering checks – Bilge pumps, seacocks, smoke alarms.
  • Washdown – Full yacht and tender washed and chamoised. Hatches, scuppers, lockers and spot polish of any rust.
  • Monthly full systems start up – Engine and generator start up, run to temp and load test. Steering, hydraulics, windlass, A/C, fridges, nav system, toilets, pumps and anything else. Full checks performed and logged.
  • Client reporting system – All yachts get access to an online portal with an activity log, issues/repairs, photos, yacht accounts and more.

Open items

As well as Core items, these additional services are bundled into 15 or 30 hours per month, and are included in Premium and Exclusive packages.

  • Yacht detailing / polishing – Stainless, GRP or paint polishing.
  • Contractor management – Sourcing, quotes, management and QA of any works required.
  • Trip set up and pack down – Full clean, beds made, fridges stocked, covers off, checked and ready to go.
  • Moving yacht – Qualified and experienced captain and crew.
  • Regular equipment servicing – Engine, generator and watermaker on hours servicing or as needed.
  • General onboard maintenance – Small fixes, repairs, interior and exterior.

  • Deep cleaning – Empty, clean, repack and inventory of yacht, normally post season.
  • Winterise and spring set up – End of season winterise of all necessary equipment and following spring set up and test.
  • Broker Prep – Preparation of the yacht for broker visits to showroom standard.
  • Concierge – We’re just a message away for problems, questions, assisting with travel plans, airport transfers, local knowledge, recommendations and more.

Our Packages

  • Light
    Our Entry level package for the hands-on owner who just needs their yacht watched while they’re away.
    15 hours per month, including all CORE services.
  • Premium
    Our most popular package for the owner who wants some help maintaining and looking after their yacht but still enjoys getting hands on every so often.
    30 hours per month, including all CORE service plus 15 hours allocated to Open items as required.

  • Exclusive
    Our carefree package for the owner who wants to turn up and go with zero fuss.
    45 hours per month, including all CORE service plus 30 hours allocated to Open items as required.
